NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR THE DIGITAL COMMITTEE

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

The Digital Committee exists to provide the retail industry with thought leadership specific to digital developments and eCommerce. The committee, consisting of  digital and eCommerce specialists, provides guidance to the ARA and its members on:  

  • Growth in domestic markets 

  • Support for Australian brands in overseas markets 

  • Legislative and regulatory developments 

  • Sustainability 

  • Digital training needs 

 

The ARA’s Digital Committee provides retailers with tools to support expansion into online and overseas markets, and guides the ARA’s advocacy across digital policy issues affecting retailers.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Under consideration for this new Committee:

  • What should the ARA’s focus be on the digital area 

  • What industry-wide contacts should we be reaching out to 

  • What format is the best for this group

  • The first meeting was held on 15 May 2020, and regular monthly meetings have been scheduled
